Shipping policy

Polly Products has negotiated discounts with various freight carriers to get the best possible shipping rates for our customers. Orders are shipped via the most practical and economical option available to us unless, at the time of order placement, the customer provides our Customer Service Associate with specific instructions to use a carrier that they will pay directly. All of our products are shipped FOB (Free on Board) from our factory.  The customer will be charged for the freight on the invoice at the time of shipment unless prior arrangements have been made.

Your order may be shipped by a commercial truck carrier, which requires the customer to have the equipment (forklift) to offload from the truck tailgate.  Most residential and some commercial customers may need a liftgate, which gets the pallet from the truck tailgate to ground level.  Commercial truck drivers are only required to move freight to the tailgate or off of the liftgate.  Please discuss additional services you may require, (such as residential delivery, liftgate, prior notification of delivery) on the order form or with our representative as there may be additional charges.  Polly Products will not be liable for and will invoice for any additional services required to complete the delivery, whether requested by the customer in advance or not, including re-consignment fees for address corrections, re-delivery, limited access delivery, and storage.

Our website has a freight estimator for various shipping methods (package ground and truck freight). This service is an estimation only. We will make every effort to meet or improve this estimate at the time of shipment, but cannot guarantee this rate as fuel surcharges are applied weekly by commercial carriers.

Polly Products utilizes established Shipping Guidelines to provide the most economical shipping methods while best protecting our products in transit.  All shipments will adhere and conform to our shipping guidelines and we reserve the rights to reject orders that vary from our guidelines, or charge additional packaging and handling fees necessitated by variances requested by customers.  The customer is responsible for any additional charges incurred for packaging materials and labor.

Should there be a delay of shipment in transit, Polly Products is not liable or responsible and invoicing terms still apply. Upon notification of a delay, we will be happy to track your shipment and help resolve any issues.

Additional helpful information . . .

LTL means ‘less than truckload’.  All tables, 8’ benches, message centers, and receptacles ship on a pallet via LTL freight carrier.  If you are not shipping to a commercial building with a loading dock, you will most likely require a truck outfitted with a liftgate to unload your order.  Large orders of 4’ and 6’ benches also ship by this method.

‘Package’ and ‘Ground’ means your product will ship in cartons using a carrier such as Fed Ex Ground or UPS.  You may request additional services, such as ‘Call prior to delivery’ or ‘Signature required’ for additional fees.  These services will not be utilized on your shipment unless specifically requested.
